URGENT - LMST AND PETTY CASH REIMBURSEMENTS

MAILBOX CHANGE

Author: Martin Quinn

A number of schools are still sending claims to the Oracle Support mailbox.  As previously requested, can all schools who currently send LMST and Petty Cash reimbursements  please send all future claims to PaymentsTeam@walsall.gov.uk with the exception of Option 2 schools (whose invoices are paid by Nicola Shakespeare-Postans and Kulbir Randhawa) who should continue to send their claims to them.

Failure to send to the correct mailbox will result in delays in payment

If you have any questions please contact the Payments Team on the above email.

Thanks for your co-operation

Oracle Accounts Payable

Cheque Payments

Author: Martin Quinn

We have recently been experiencing issue with raising invoices and payments on Oracle Accounts Payable when maintained Walsall schools have provided services to other maintained Walsall schools. This is due to the cheque name being made payable to ‘XXXX school’ rather than ‘Walsall Council’ which means we cannot process or bank the cheque.

Schools should not be doing this, they should be processed as journals, however this is causing some confusion.
