The Department for Education has published the healthy pupils capital fund for 2018-19. Funds will be allocated to responsible bodies, such as local authorities and multi-academy trusts, to be distributed to schools.

With money raised by the Soft Drinks Industry Levy, the healthy pupils capital funding supports schools to improve access to facilities for physical activity, healthy eating, mental health and wellbeing and medical conditions (such as kitchens, dining facilities, changing rooms, playgrounds and sports facilities).
