Assisted Intrument Purchase Scheme

The scheme enables pupils of Walsall schools to take advantage of the large discounts on instrument prices available to Walsall’s Education Service, and is VAT exempt.

This means that pupils of Walsall Council schools can buy an instrument at the lowest possible price. The scheme is also available to pupils who need a higher quality instrument for more advanced tuition.

Musical instrument spares

Strings, reeds, oils and maintenance kits are all available from Forest Arts Centre.

Please call with an order numbers and spares will then be delivered to you by Forest Arts staff.

Parents can also purchase spares through our Music Centre on a Tuesday evening during term time.

Piano tuning/maintenance

Piano Tuning and Repair Service available through Forest Arts Centre.

Tunings are carried out by our Senior Instrument Technician at a cost of £30 per piano.

Any repairs will be assessed and a quotation provided.
