RSS Feeds

As part of our recent enhancements made to Apprenticeship vacancies, there is now a range of RSS feeds available to Employers, Providers and wider Stakeholders.

You will need to be using a web browser which supports RSS feeds (this includes Internet Explorer 8).

RSS links can be emailed to colleagues, individuals or partner organisations as an easy way of sharing vacancy information.

RSS links can be emailed to colleagues, individuals or partner organisations as an easy way of sharing vacancy information.

You can subscribe to them also and save them to your internet browser favourites, so upon opening the browser it will update in Real time and give you the latest Live vacancies.

RSS feeds for each region are also available on our website at the following link http://www.apprenticeships.org.uk/News-Media/RSS.aspx

For more on using our RSS feeds go to this link and scroll down to RSS feeds.http://www.apprenticeships.org.uk/Partners/Apprenticeship-vacancies.aspx.

This includes information about different fields you can use and how to view vacancies which are due to close, or vacancies from a specific sector:

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.

RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. To view live vacancies as an RSS feed, click on the link below.

WEST MIDLANDS               WMD

The main benefit of using this RSS function is that you do not need to be fully registered or login in to the Av (Apprenticeship Vacancies Online) as a Stakeholder to see the full vacancy.

Also it gives an immediate up to the minute view , of vacancies that your local NAS office is approving and making LIVE on the system. (Remember to PRESS F5 regularly on your keyboard to refresh the RSS page you are viewing)

We hope that upon looking at the Weekly Vacancy Report, you can support us with any vacancy which has little or no applications by signposting your clients to those vacancies (if appropriate).

For those users (partner organisations/stakeholders) who do have full login and passwords, we would always encourage you to use the system by you logging in fully.

If you have any questions about these vacancies please email wmnas@apprenticeships.gov.uk or call 0121 345 4565
