Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Your Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is provided by Vivup. It offers a confidential counselling support service for any personal, work or family-related issues you may be facing, offering independent and impartial advice and information. The service is accessible 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year via phone and online portal/website.
The Vivup website offers a range of online resources that supports employees with regards to issues at home, at work, physical and mental health wellbeing.
To register on the Vivup platform, simply visit Vivup and click on ‘Register’ in the top right corner.
Occupational Health
Occupational Health Services are a source of specialist health care professionals (e.g. OH Nurses and Physicians) that provides organisational and individual advice on all aspects of health and work. They provide statutory health surveillance, opinions on fitness for work and rehabilitation, advice on legal compliance, both in relation to health and safety legislation and equality legislation. Appointment and cancellations:
Where an employee is unable to attend their appointment, they should notify the occupational health service who will arrange an alternative. Where an employee fails to attend an appointment without prior notice, there may be a fee incurred.

GDPR: The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) require consent to be given by the employee for their personal information to be shared. Managers will need to obtain verbal or written consent from employees before making the referral to Occupational Health. The online referral form requires the manager to indicate that the employee has given this consent, as in the absence of this consent Occupational Health will not be able to accept the referral.
