The Music Hub

 

Walsall Music Education Hub resides at Walsall Arena and Arts Centre. Working in partnership with schools, colleges, universities and independent music providers, the hub offers all children attending schools in Walsall an amazing array of musical opportunities in, and out of school including: lessons on instruments, ensembles and groups (see below), large scale events (Symphony Hall, Town Hall, Walsall Arena etc), special projects, Music competition. Music Centres

 

 
Music Centres operate on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, offering a huge range of ensembles and groups for young people to attend (String orchestras, Wind Bands, Jazz Bands, Rock Bands, Choirs), and for all levels of ability. Assisted instrumental Purchase Scheme

 

The scheme enables pupils of Walsall schools to take advantage of the large discounts on instrument prices available to Walsall’s Education Service, and is VAT exempt.

This means that pupils of Walsall Council schools can buy an instrument at the lowest possible price. The scheme is also available to pupils who need a higher quality instrument for more advanced tuition.

Musical instrument spares

Strings, reeds, oils and maintenance kits are all available from Walsall Arena and Arts Centre.

Parents can also purchase spares through our Music Centre on a Tuesday evening during term time.
