Combined Community Dental Services (Special care)

The Combined Community Dental Service is part of Birmingham NHS Community Healthcare Trust.

They provide comprehensive dental care to children and adults with extra needs. Their main services include:

  • Dental care for patients with high treatment needs, patients who are dental phobic and who have other behavioural problems, and patients with compromising medical problems that affect delivery of dental care.
  • A general anaesthetic service for children and special needs adults and a home visit service.
  • In-hours urgent dental care at our Dental Access Centre.
  • Local and national data via local epidemiology surveys of children of various ages.

The aim of the service is to cater for each person’s individual needs and provide dental care locally to where you live. Whether you are a potential patient or a professional seeking to refer to our service, please contact the service for more information.
