Due to the bank holiday on Monday 29th August 2022, please see below revised payment dates for BACS payments.
- Wednesday payment run 24/08/2022 – Credit date of payment is Friday 26/08/2022 (and not Monday 29/08/2022).
- Thursday payment run 25/08/2022 – Credit date of payment is Tuesday 30/08/2022 as normal.
- Friday payment run 26/08/2022 – Credit date of payment is Wednesday 31/08/2022 as normal.

System deadlines for year end
In order to successfully move Oracle Financials into the new Financial Year, the attached guidance and deadlines should be observed when processing transactions in Accounts Payable:-

A number of schools are still sending claims to the Oracle Support mailbox. As previously requested, can all schools who currently send LMST and Petty Cash reimbursements please send all future claims to PaymentsTeam@walsall.gov.uk with the exception of Option 2 schools (whose invoices are paid by Nicola Shakespeare-Postans and Kulbir Randhawa) who should continue to send their claims to them.
Failure to send to the correct mailbox will result in delays in payment

On 30 September 2021 the 5% reduced VAT rate for catering and hospitality that was implemented as part of the Government’s COVID-19 measures will be ending. A temporary VAT rate of 12.5% was implemented from 1 October 2021 and will be in place until 31 March 2022.
