Our service at a glance
The Integrated Behaviour Support Service (IBSS) provides schools with support for all aspects of positive behaviour management following the six themes of the behaviour strategy. In addition to whole school support, general classroom management, parental engagement and enhancing pupils’ behaviour for learning, the IBSS provides interventions to individual pupils demonstrating behavioural issues.
The Service provides:
- 10 sessions (a morning, afternoon or twilight) per academic year of Specialist Teacher time
- 16 sessions (a morning, afternoon or twilight) per academic year of Integrated Behaviour Support Worker (IBSW) time
- Clinical Nurse Specialists, seconded from CAMHs, time as necessary, by referral
- A Family Support Worker
- Attendance at IPMs, Parent Consultation Meetings, Early Help Meetings, etc.
- Lead Behaviour Professional Support
- Whole School and Individual Support for staff
- Individual and small group pupil support
- Regularly planned Area Behaviour Cluster meetings to facilitate school-to-school support.
